Bucket Bags for Spring

Hi Angels!!

I never thought I would say this, but I am currently loving bucket bags!  I saw the newest collection by Louis Vuitton, and I have to admit, they are beautiful.  I decided that I absolutely must add this style to my collection.  I really like how it can be worn very casually, with jeans and a tee, or dressed up for work.  I also don't mind that there is ample space for storage.

As always, I searched for a similar look, and was not disappointed by Vince Camuto.  I'm going to be picking up the Colby Drawstring bag this week for $198.   It is all perforated leather, and comes in an array of colors.  I am sticking with black, but the white and orange options would add a nice pop of color to a spring or summer outfit.  I also spotted the Janet bag, which is on sale for only $79.99 (for those not willing to make a large commitment to the style).  What do you think about this trend?

Bordeaux and Bling Holiday Party Look

Hello again Angels!

Back with some more outfit inspiration for the holidays.  Our last post was oh-so-fab and didn't hold back on the glamour.  If you missed it, check it out here.
So, we wanted to be sure to follow up with something a little more tame for those social settings where you may want to dress to impress but keep it simple (read:  you significant other's boss' Christmas party!)
For this look, it's head to toe bordeaux (also known as burgundy, oxblood, etc).  Blush pairs so beautifully with this hue, so we couldn't resist topping it off with this Zara blazer.  And let's not forget the megawatt bling on the ears,  neck and in hand to really make things festive.

We would love to hear your questions and comments below.  Hope you like!
Until next time,
Happy Holidays!

What to Wear for the Holidays - The Thanksgiving Edition

Hello Angels!!

I know it is always a challenge to figure out what to wear around the holidays.  You want to look fabulous since you will most likely be reuniting with friends and family, but want to achieve this without breaking the bank!  All of the above applies for me, plus I was on the lookout for something comfortable, with some give, so that I don't feel self conscious about what I will be eating all day.  Sequined track pants to the rescue!  They are a fun way to add some sparkle, while remaining very comfortable, and that is my main goal.  I was inspired by some luxe options by J. Crew and Anthropologie, but I opted to find the look for less so I could spread the love for my holiday gift list.

Here is my look for Thanksgiving tomorrow, keep scrolling down for the play by play, and where to find everything.  Happy shopping and a very Happy Thanksgiving to our US readers!  Stay tuned for more looks throughout the holiday season!

The clothes

The main piece, sequined track pants by Wayf ($68 at Nordstrom)

My top is a simple black tee with embellished shoulders from Express, which is now on sale for $14.95!  Since my pants are very flashy, I wanted to tone everything else down.

I will be wearing black suede Zipfel pumps from Aldo $70

And of course, since it's going to be cold, I needed a jacket, also from Express. This is a quilted baseball jacket on sale for $39.95

I decided to go with a faux leather envelope clutch from Nordstrom $35

And last but not least, my splurge for this outfit is a black and gold lucite bracelet by Alexis Bittar, also from Nordstrom $99

For my inspiration, I spotted these pants at Anthropologie for $348 and these J. Crew Harem Sequined pants for $650. I was able to achieve the entire look for around $325, and I already owned most of the pieces!

Anthropologie sequined taper pants $348

J. Crew Harem Sequined pants $650 (yes, that's right six-hundred-fifty-dollars)

Wishing you a Happy and Stylish Holiday!

Peter Pilotto for Target

Hi Angels,

I just heard some great news from the Target camp.  Their next Fashion partnership will be with Peter Pilotto.  Target is doing their best to keep you up to date with young and fresh designers.

This designer's clothes are worn by a great deal of young Hollywood and has been featured on some great magazines.

Here are some looks from previous runway collections:

Miranda Kerr

Vogue. Com

Kerry Washington

Vogue UK

As you can see this line is not for the fashion shy.  It is full of color and different shapes.  I hope the Target Collection will be the same.  It is to be released on the 9th of February.  I will be sure to check out the items that will be priced at $60 and up.

Let us know what you think Angels and if you will be Target on that day.

Until Next Time
Happy Haulin'

Real or Steal? Cap Toe Pumps for Fall!

Hi Angels!

Every now and then I get inspired to hunt for designer looks that are budget conscious. My most recent inspiration were cap toe pumps that I have seen by a wide range of designers.  It's an elegant and easy way to add a pop of color to an outfit. Saint Laurent, Jimmy Choo, Alexander McQueen, Stuart Weitzman, and Kate Spade seem to agree with me!

           Stuart Weitzman

           Kate Spade

The shoes pictured above start at $300. Though I love them all and always get sucked in to buying designer shoes, sometimes I enjoy the thrill of finding something equally as beautiful, without feeling guilty about it as soon as I walk out of the store!  Fear not, I have found a pair of cap toe pumps at a price that won't break the bank!  I randomly discovered these amazing Jessica Simpson pumps at Marshalls for under $50!  Can you even tell the difference?  I am so excited to wear these this season, and I'm pretty sure my wallet has given it's seal of approval as well :)

Happy shopping!!
