Bordeaux and Bling Holiday Party Look

Hello again Angels!

Back with some more outfit inspiration for the holidays.  Our last post was oh-so-fab and didn't hold back on the glamour.  If you missed it, check it out here.
So, we wanted to be sure to follow up with something a little more tame for those social settings where you may want to dress to impress but keep it simple (read:  you significant other's boss' Christmas party!)
For this look, it's head to toe bordeaux (also known as burgundy, oxblood, etc).  Blush pairs so beautifully with this hue, so we couldn't resist topping it off with this Zara blazer.  And let's not forget the megawatt bling on the ears,  neck and in hand to really make things festive.

We would love to hear your questions and comments below.  Hope you like!
Until next time,
Happy Holidays!

Another Must For Fall - Moto Jackets

Hi Angels!!

I am back with another one of my favorites for fall.  I am obsessed with leather (and faux leather) moto jackets!  They can be dressed up or down, and add a bit of edginess to an outfit.  Don't be afraid to wear it with a dress or skirt!  As an added bonus they keep you nice and warm too.  I have included some different options below.  My top pick is the Zara vegan moto jacket priced at $119.  It's an inexpensive yet chic option that is cruelty free. Happy shopping!!

Everyone Loves Plaid

Hi Angels!!

One of the top trends I have been seeing everywhere this fall is plaid.  For the first time, I actually think I like plaid!  Designers have made plaid look edgy and tres chic, by creating versatile pieces that can be dressed up or down. They have moved away from the more traditional shirts that you would expect to see in plaid, and have instead created moto jackets and skirts in subdued shades that have managed to make me a fan.  I especially love the look Versace featured in their main display (below).  I think it's an easy look to replicate with a lower end plaid jacket paired with some black leggings and black pumps.  For an office look, wear a plaid pencil skirt with green and navy blue, add a white shirt, bangles, and a statement necklace and you are good to go!!  You can dress plaid down for the weekend with a button down shirt and some gray jeans.

I have scoured high to low, and have summarized places you can find plaid trends and inspiration for every budget ranging from Versace, Saks, all the way to Forever 21. My top pick aside from the Versace look is the Gap jacket, pictured below.  Overall, I think this trend is a do.

Shopping run in SoHo!!

Hi Angels!

I did a quick run through some of my go to stores in SoHo this weekend, and found a couple of cute summer finds as well as a preview of fall.  Here are some of my picks:

Maxi dress at Mango, $110. I love this dress, it looks so airy, perfect for this heat wave on the East Coast.  The blue hue seems so serene to me.

Front of dress:

Back of dress:

It has a few slits in the back would which be great for some ventilation ;).

Next up,  I thought this display at Mango was hot- a little preview of things to come!  Oh how I have missed wearing black to avoid the heat.

On display at Mango, SoHo:

I kept going down the block and popped into Armani Exchange to check out their sale.  I was impressed with a dress going for only $30, that would look great at a summer party.  The fabric was relatively light and very fitted.

Last, but certainly not least is a preview of what's in store for fall at Zara- Animal print is back again!!  I love the combo of simple whites with animal print, effortlessly chic!  Looking forward to wearing a blazer again!

Let me know what you think!  Happy shopping!

Jimmy Choo Look For LESS!!

Hi Angels!!

This season I have been completely enamoured with these pink suede "Anouk" pump by Jimmy Choo.  Well, that quicky subsided when I checked out the price and experienced some massive sticker shock.  I made it my mission to find something similar, yet at a price I could feel good about.  Though the Jimmy Choo pumps are to die for, I just can't handle spending $595 on fuschia.  As luck would have it, on a random walk into Zara, I found pink suede pumps for only $90!!  These pumps have a round toe, as opposed to a pointy toe, and have approximately a 4 inch heel.  I can't to rock these with an all black ensemble, or a mix of black and white.  Just love that big POP of color!

What do you think?

First picture is the Jimmy Choo, Second picture is by Zara.

Enjoy! :) I will be adding more pics of the Zara pumps soon, check back for more!!

Sparkle for the Holidays

I spotted these shoes on a recent walk in to Zara, and I think these would be the perfect shoes to wear to a holiday party or New Year's Eve for that extra sparkle.  You can choose between black or beige, depending on your preference and what you plan to wear them with.  The best part is, they are under $100!  I love the little peep toe as well, which can be carried into the Spring.

This is clutch

I have to admit that I simply love the clutches that Bottega Veneta and Alexander McQueen have designed this year, but at over $1,000 a pop, I couldn't justify such a splurge.

Well, I turned that frown upside down when I went into Zara and found a similar clutch, for one tenth of the price!  I think it would make the perfect accessory to a simple black dress.  No need for too much jewelry, this clutch is ornate enough to hold it's own weight.

What I'm Obsessed With This Week....

Hi Angels!!

I am obsessed with shades of RED right now.  Whether it's a red bag, a pair of shoes with a pop of red, or a red frock, I am currently loving this trend.  Isn't it time to switch things up?  Here are some of my favorites from Zara, Ferragamo, and H&M.

The Zara shopper is a great way to break up an outfit.  Pair this bag with a black dress for an instant wow factor.  For a more casual look, you can wear this with a pair of distressed denim and a white tee, and still look polished.  I especially love these Ferragamo wedges, what a great way to sneak some color in, while still looking classy.  The red dress is a great transitional look from day to evening.  You can wear the dress to work with a pair of pumps and a blazer.  Pair it with a clutch and some sexy strappy sandals for an evening look.  Enjoy!

What I'm Obsessed With This Week....

Hi Angels!!

I saw this silver motorcycle jacket for the fall that I am in love with!  It will look great with any color, and can go extremely well with an all black ensemble.  I saw this at Zara from their new Fall 2012 Collection.  I will be back next week with my new must have!

Still Loving White

Hey Angels!!

I just spent some time on 5th Avenue in Manhattan, and found myself drawn to yet another white piece.  I fell in love with this blazer, and just had to have it.  It appears crisp and clean from the front, until you turn around.  The back is unexpectedly edgy, in the most tasteful way!  I got this piece at Zara for $89.90 from their Fall 2012 Collection.

White on White this Spring/Summer

Hi Angels!!

I am currently loving the white on white trend right now.  I have seen so many looks for Spring/Summer 2012 with head to toe white.  I reccommend a white suit for the office, with a sequined tank to wear into the night.  Pair this up with some beige patent pumps and a flirty neutral clutch, and you are good to go from professional to sexy!

Here are some looks I am loving right now:

Zara White V-Neck Dress- $59.90

Zara White Dress with Black Bow in Back- $59.90 (I own this dress)

Bebe Asymmetric White Dress- $119.00

BCBG White Suit
