Alexander Wang for H&M

Hi Angels,

The darling of the urban fashion world has teamed up with a retail giant.  That's right!  Alexander Wang is releasing a collection for H&M. The release is scheduled on November 6th

Here is what H&M had to say about the designer:
“Alexander Wang is one of the most important voices in fashion today. He understands exactly what people want to wear and does it with an energy and passion that’s infectious. It feels incredible to be collaborating with him this year,” said Margareta van den Bosch, H&M’s creative advisor.

This is the first time that an American designer teams up with H&M, and the Alexander Wang x H&M collection will feature apparel and accessories for both men and women.

And you know the Pretty Prescibers were scouring the net for a glimpse of the line.
Here it is courtesy of Racked National:

Do not expect color color from the designer. Be is know for his usage of the colors black, white and gray.  We even caught a glimpse of a fashionista rocking a look from the never released H&M line. Who is it?  Well it's Rihanna, running that town and pictured below: (courtesy of daily mail)

I for one am interested and would like to take a look at the collection if it doesn't sell out.  It looks like the pieces can be fused with my everyday wardrobe.

So what do you think Angels?  Anyone getting up early on the release date?  Do you see anything that peaks your interest?  Let us know what you think.

Until next time Angels

Makeup Forever Artist Shadows

Hi Angels,

I was looking on makeup sites to see what some of the make up brands have released lately.  While on Sephora.com I browsed one of my favorite lines which is Makeup Forever.  They have just released a new eyeshadow called , "The Artist Shadow". They are described as a gel powder with vivid color payoff. It is a Sephora exclusive and has over 200 shades.

Here is what the brand has to say about the shadows. "Effortlessly create endless eye looks that range from beautifully natural to highly artistic with this unique eye shadow palette. With its breakthrough, gel-powder formula blended with ultrafine pigments, Artist Shadow leaves a smooth, even result that gives lids super-saturated, lasting color. An easily-blendable formula that features diamond, iridescent, matte, metallic, and satin finishes, it is an accessible shadow for the professional makeup artist and the everyday woman."

Let's take a look at some of the colors.  This shadow is in a special case for one shadow.
This next case is for shadow duos.
Lastly we will now look at picture of the shadows in a case for three shadows
As you can see the colors are vivid and come in different finishes.  You can arrange them how you please. At Sephora.com there is a special being offered.
" *Add a MAKE UP FOR EVER Mono, Duo, or Trio Artist Shadow Custom Palette Case to your cart for $1. When you add 2 MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Shadows and a Duo Palette to your basket, a $9 discount will be applied automatically at checkout. When you add 3 MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Shadows and a Trio Palette to your basket, a $20 discount will be applied automatically at checkout. Only one discount applied per order; discount not applicable for orders shipping outside the U.S. This offer is valid while supplies last. This offer is subject to change, alteration, or termination by Sephora at its sole discretion at any time. "

That is a great discount.  I hope it is available for a while so that I may be able to take advantage of it.  Makeupforever is known for their pigmented shadows that blend easily.  I believe everyone will at least find one shade that they like.  It is definitely worth a look.

So what do you think Angels?  Are we looking for new fall colors?  Is this deal right up your alley?  Let us know what you think.

Until next time Angels

Urban Decay Naked Basics 2

Hi Angels,

As you already know we Pretty Prescribers are fans of Urban Decay.  We especially like their best selling Naked Palettes.  In addition to their Naked Palette, the brand released Naked Basics.  These are mattes that can be used in addition to the shimmery shades.

Well today Urban Decay released Naked 2 Basics  These colors are a welcome addition to your Naked 2 palette.  Here is what the brand had to say...
"Cooler in tone than the original, Naked2 Basics complements Naked 2 perfectly. We loaded this indispensable palette with six TAUPE-hued matte neutrals, including five never-before-seen shades. These shadows are neutral enough for anyone, from cool skin tones to olive complexions to darker skin."

Here is a pic of the new palette courtesy of Urban Decay:

The colors are described by the brand as follows: (from left to right)
Skimp (pale nude satin), Stark (nude-pink matte), Frisk (warm gray matte), Cover (muted red-brown matte), Primal (muted brown matte) and Undone (deep, smoky brown matte).

The next pic is of the  previously released Urban Decay Naked 2 palette:( also courtesy of Urban Decay's website)
The Naked 2 Basics opens up
More options for the Naked 2 palette. The possibilities of beautiful daytime looks has increased twofold. The palette is available at UrbanDecay.com for $29.This idea is great. Although I don't own this Naked 2 Palette, I am anxious to see what Naked 3 Basics will contain.  I do own Naked 3 as well as the original Naked palette.

So what so we think Angels?  Are you interested?  Let us know if it's a yay or nay.  We look forward to hearing from you.
