MAC Heavenly Creatures Lipstick

Hi Angels!!

Lastly, I purchased Fire Sign Lipstick from MAC's Heavenly Creatures Collection.  It is a lustre finish lipstick, which means it has more moisture and shine then color.  This one in particular is quite pigmented and looks beautiful with Astral or Galaxy Rose top.  I might have to get another since it works so well with two lip glosses.

So Angels, there you have my Heavenly Creatures haul in a few doses.  Be sure to stop my your local MAC store or department store to see the collection in person.  You can also purchase the products on MACcosmetics.com

MAC Heavenly Creatures Eyeshadow

Hi Angels!!

The only eyeshadow I picked up was Magnetic Attraction from MAC's Heavenly Creatures Collection.  This is the perfect blend of orange, red, pink and gold.  Other standouts that came to mind for you to check out were Water, Neo Nebula and Earthly.

Magnetic Attraction swatches beautifully and has no glitter fallout.  You can swirl all the colors together or separately for a nice sunset look.

MAC Heavenly Creatures Mineralize Skin Finish

Hi Angels!!

MAC's Heavenly Creatures collection had four mineralize skin finishes.  These are finely milled powders with a lot of color and shimmer/glitter. They can be used to highlight your face or as a blush.

I bought  three of the four. I did not purchase Light Year because it looked like other ones I had in my collection.  I did purchase three of them.  Two of them are a must have for me.  From left to right are Center of the Universe, Earthshine and Star Wonder.  Center of the Universe is a beautiful mixture of terracotta, orange and gold.  In my opinion it can be worn by everyone but will look beautiful on tanned skin.

The second one below is Earthshine.  For those of you that have been collecting for a while it is not easy to always find a skin finish that works for a woman of color.  Like Metal Rock (the most talked about skin finish by women of color ) and Warm Blend of previous collections this one hits the spot.  It is a wonderful blend of gold, plum/burgundy and brown.  The more burgundy it has the browner it will be.  Those with lighter complexions should consider one with less burgundy to be used as a blush or contour.  I love this one.

The last one is called Star Wonder.  It a beautiful pink, purple and gold mixture.  This also can be worn by all skin tones as a highlighter or blush.  For me it looks like others I have in my collection.  I am waiting for MAC to come out with a highlighter to be worn over my purple/plum blushes.  For me this is not the one.  It is still worth checking out.

Kitty, Kitty Sally Hansen Nail Strips

Hello Angels!!

After my IMPRESS nails disaster I ducked in to my local Walgreens after church and bought these Sally Hansen Nail Strips.  This is Kitty, Kitty.  Hey, I am from NEW JOISEY so I likes me some animal print. What can I say ladies these saved the day.  I came home found my nail size in the strip stuck them on and filed away the extra.  The result was a manicure that lasted over seven days with very little chipping.   The picture is probably day five.  They are great and I will be buying some more.  You can pick these up at your local drugstore, Target or wherever else Sally Hansen is sold.

MAC Heavenly Creatures

Hello Angels!!

MAC released it's mineralize collection on the 5th of July.  It is called Heavenly Creatures.  It is chock full of beautiful cremesheen glasses, mineralize skin finishes, mineralize blushes and mineralize eyeshadows.  We will be reviewing what I bought, and if I remember any standouts that others were talking about, I will mention them as well.

Let us start with the Cremesheen glasses.  They are absolutely beautiful.  I bought four of the five.  Below from left to right are Celestial Kiss(for obvious reasons LOL) peach nude, Astral (corally red pink), Galaxy Rose (dust rose) and Meteoric (corally pink). This formula is my favorite of MAC's glosses.  It is creamy smooth with lots of color.

Rainbow in the S-Kylie (Kardashian Collection)

Hello Angels!!

I am back to review a polish that I wore a little while back.  It is called Rainbow in the S-Kylie and it is from the Nicole by OPI Kardashian Collection.  This polish has multi-sized and multi colored glitter in it.  I used it on top of a nude polish I had.  It went on smoothly despite the glitter after two coats and a topcoat.  It is very pretty and quite festive but not as in your face as some other glitter polishes. (Not that there is anything wrong with that).  It did not wear as long as some of my other glitter polishes but it did last 3-4 days without chipping.  If you happen to be in the market for a polish like this it is not a bad buy.  This polish can be purchased at your neighborhood Target, Harmon or anywhere else that sells OPI.
