Impress - Press-On Manicure Review

Hello Pretties,

Today I am reviewing the IMPRESS manicure.  This was a sample sent with an order that I received. I applied them on a Sunday morning because I was in a bind and had no time for polish.
I would love to say I like this, but honey this is not for me. It was hard to find a nail that fit my nail bed. After a couple of hours and no filing they started to peel and crack. Although the adhesive was strong the nails looked wrong. LOL.  My husband told me to hide my hands in church.
Maybe this will work for someone with smaller nail beds.  The color I had as well as the colors available are very nice.  I say try it for yourself to see it is a good fit.

Bling It On...Nail Polish!

Sally Hansen's Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips in "Bling It On"

This all in one set can be found at your local grocery store or pharmacy.  Real nail polish strips press on to your nails without a base coat or top coat.  You use the enclosed file to smooth away excess and the orange stick to press the edges into your cuticles and... Voila!  Sparkly, well-manicured nails with zero dry time!

The package boasts a 10 day duration.  I'll see how long it lasts but so far I'm impressed by how mess-free the color applies and how good it looks!

Happy shopping!

Nicole by OPI's Love Your Life

Hi Angels!

I just tried Nicole by OPI's Love Your Life.  This clear color with a very slight pink hue contains rainbow glitter and small shiny pink hearts.  I bought it on a whim at my local target because it looked ao cute and decided to give it a whirl.

I layered it over Essie nail polish in Blanc (2 coats) after letting it dry for about 10 minutes.  The polish is a bit on the thicker side and getting the hearts to lay on takes a little bit of work but once on they compliment the underlying shade beautifully. With patience I managed to get about 4 hearts on each nail.  I finished with a clear top coat, the fast drying kind since I have several layers of polish on and voila!  A springy romantic manicure for the girly girl in each of us with eye-catching details done in minutes.  Happy polishing!!!
