These are the creme blushes that I hauled from the S3C3 collection. Who wants to write shop and cook three times? Anyway, from left to right we have Florida (a blue based pink), Optimistic Orange(a coral), and Restores Dazzle( a berry color). They are all a hit and can be worn alone or underneath a powder blush for enhancement. They are great colors that are on trend for Spring.

If you were as lucky as I was last month you were able to snag these beauties from the MAC shop shop shop cook cook cook collection. I got these lipsticks from left to right.
Quick sizzle (matte fuchsia), Watch me simmer (amplified pink/coral), Runway Red (blue based satin red) and Naughty Sauté' (pepto bismol pink cremesheen).
All of these lipsticks are a hit, with quick sizzle being my favorite. Although they are sold out some may be lingering at your neighborhood counter. Always check MAC.com for restock.

I just tried Nicole by OPI's Love Your Life. This clear color with a very slight pink hue contains rainbow glitter and small shiny pink hearts. I bought it on a whim at my local target because it looked ao cute and decided to give it a whirl.
I layered it over Essie nail polish in Blanc (2 coats) after letting it dry for about 10 minutes. The polish is a bit on the thicker side and getting the hearts to lay on takes a little bit of work but once on they compliment the underlying shade beautifully. With patience I managed to get about 4 hearts on each nail. I finished with a clear top coat, the fast drying kind since I have several layers of polish on and voila! A springy romantic manicure for the girly girl in each of us with eye-catching details done in minutes. Happy polishing!!!

Please check out Maybelline's Color Tattoos- Colors from left to right Audacious Asphalt, Edgy Emerald, Tenacious teal and Fierce and Tangy. They are similar to MAC paint pots. The colors I have do have a little shimmer but not enough to disrupt another color for layering purposes.
They go on smoothly and come in more colors that I will be checking out. And for the price, they can't be beat. Please be sure to check them out at your local drugstore or beauty supply.

But, we all know that not everyone can spend an arm and a leg on the latest fashion, so we have compiled a few Peplum dresses to add to your Spring wardrobe without breaking the bank! Chestnut- this is a must have, especially for women of color
Cork- a nice light brown for lighter looks
Vino- a nice wine pencil for reds
Currant- a workhorse of pencils that goes with a lot of different colors
Spice- good for a natural look and for evening out lip color
Plum/Magenta- for berries, plums and pinks
Chicory- for corals

This charity is near and dear to our hearts, every young woman should get to feel beautiful! Donate a Dress accepts dress and shoe donations year round for high school girls to wear to the prom! Continuing with the bright color trend this Spring, I am currently eyeing these wedge sandals at Nine West for only $89! They would look great with a solid color outfit, like a white dress, just by adding that unexpected pop of color. My only problem is which color to select! Either are versatile and would complement black, white, or nude nicely. Just remember: do not overdo any trend, one pop of color is sometimes all you need to make an outfit really stand out. Enjoy!
